Even with the United States on the brink of elimination from the World Cup with a must-win fixture vs. Ghana on Thursday, it's been a great tournament so far for Arsenal internationals. Just discovered the excellent coverage on the team site. The gunners are represented by 16 players from 11 countries. Already four players: Rossicky for the Czech Rebublic, Henry for the French, Van Persie for the Dutch, and Freddie Ljungberg for Sweden have scored goals. Jens Lehmann has done well for Germany in spite of having few critical challenges and posted a clean sheet this morning against Ecuador (so much for my south american dark horse team).

Fabregas should join this group before long and perhaps Reyes or Cole as well.

If current form can be sustained, the coming Premiership season could be very memorable.
