How To Bet On Sunday

Read the rest of this posting if,

1) you're completely disgusted and disillusioned by the bizarre Super Bowl match-up and have nothing to be excited about.

2) you hopped on the Peyton Manning bandwagon and are suddenly uncool.

3) you hate the NFL, but are obliged to watch the game with family.

4) you don't know where Seattle is.

5) you feel reassured by the astute economic policies inherent in Bush's 'State of the Union' address and suddenly feel like throwing copious amounts of cash to the four winds.

A bit of gambling always keeps things honest. For those of you who can't believe that we're about to witness an epic Seahawks/Steelers shoot-out (we would be so lucky), here are a few even-money bets to arrange with family-members, friends, or spouses. Don't be stingy on the incentives, keep it interesting.

1) Will a pass be attempted by any player excluding the starting quarterbacks? (i.e. second stringers due to injury, Bettis option pass, etc.)

2) Will the opening points of the game come from a TD or Field Goal? Safety?

3) Will a rushing TD ever be scored from 1 yard or less?

4) Will there be a 50 yd+ passing play?

5) Will the winning points of the game come from an offensive drive or a defensive turnover?
