In one week Jenny and I will be departing for England..... The absence of updates on this page is partly due to accelerated preparations for our next phase but also because we've been having a royal good time road-tripping across the country and reconnecting with family and friends on the east coast.
Highlights included:
-frenetic driving from Missoula to Nashville in time to see The Clientele live with Beaumont.
-a random reunion and morning of bagels, mexican popsicles, and conversation with Rod Rosenquist.
-seeing my sister off on her grand amazonian adventure.
-a fantastic trip to New England with excellent camping and sailing on and around beautiful Metallak island, Richardson Lake, ME.
-factory store consumerist gorging.
-swallowing our fears of not being able to find a flat and turning down our initial offer of housing in London which-thanks to insider research-looked to be a bit dodgy.
-hand after hand of cards.
